Unit specification

The INTEQ I is a mobile pilot unit intended for the experimental verification of the efficiency of waste gas cleaning technologies. The unit enables variable cleaning of waste gas (flue gas) generated in real applications (e.g. waste incineration, incineration of hazardous material) from the substances such as PM, HCl, HF, SO2, VOC, PCDD/F, NOx and heavy metals.

The unit operates variably based on the technology principles, such as the filtration, the catalytic filtration, the adsorption (i.e. dry scrubber) and the catalytic reduction of pollutants.

The unit is capable of processing 1,000 m3/h of waste gas (flue gas) at the maximum temperature of 250 °C. It can be connected to the technology with the underpressure up to 10 kPa. The unit is fully selfsufficient except for the connection to the electric network (400 V / 63 A) and the water distribution network.

The filter consists of the filter construction, the discharge hopper and the supporting structure. The filter enables to test the capture of PM, NOx or PCDD/F by means of the filtration or the catalytic filtration. The filter itself consists of 15 filter bags with the diameter of 152 mm and the length of 2,500 mm. The regeneration of filtration bags is provided by the pulse jet cleaning with compressed air. Two exchangeable modules are installed at the filter’s side. The modules can be either adjusted to the adsorption cleaning process or filled with the catalyst for SCR.

The unit is equipped with the propulsion module, which assures the supply of the waste gas, and the compressor module, which is used for the pulsed regeneration of filtration bags with the compressed air.

The optional part of the unit is the module for feeding of sorbents and liquids agents such as the ammonia solution or NaHCO3.
