We deal with a&nbsp;wide scope of applications:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>injectors (ejectors)<\/li><li>valves<\/li><li>distributors and manifolds (e.g. in heat exchangers)<\/li><li>mixed vessels (e.g. with free surface, multiphase)<\/li><li>static flow mixers and turbulators<\/li><li>filters (e.g. fabric)<\/li><li>flue gas scrubbers<\/li><li>combustion chambers, furnaces (firing gas, liquid or solid&nbsp;fuels)<\/li><li>boilers (grate fired and other designs)<\/li><li>burners (internal design and its impact on flame)<\/li><li>calciners<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In our research, we make use of a&nbsp;wide&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/upi.fme.vutbr.cz\/en\/research\/labs-and-experimental-facilities\">experimental basis<\/a>&nbsp;of our institute, which provides us feedback on the results of our computations. More detailed information about our services and references may be found \u201ehere\u201c. If required, we can support our computational studies and simulations by the background of modern&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/upi.fme.vutbr.cz\/en\/research\/labs-and-experimental-facilities\">labs and facilities<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Student participation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We pay maximum attention to students working on diploma and doctoral theses. Within the work on theses, our students get in touch with the solution of research projects. Numerous theses are inspired and coordinated with companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The work with sophisticated CAD and CFD tools requires training, which is most effective when there is continuity of bachelor and diploma theses.
