Furthermore, the analytical equipment for the determination of the substrate and biogas characteristics formed during long-term fermentation tests is also available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Description of the unit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Fed-batch or batch fermentation units are used for research in the field of biodegradability and energy utilization of biodegradable waste. Using the high-tech laboratory instrumentation the batch composition can be optimized to achieve maximum biogas production during the anaerobic fermentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Optimal mixing is provided by the shaft with stirrers driven by the motor equipped with a&nbsp;frequency inverter. The heating of the vessel is provided by heating water that flows in the outer shell of the vessel. The requested temperature is then controlled by the thermostat. The electro motors with frequency inverters can be operated either manually, or automatically. In the automatic mode, the time of mixing is ensured by relays placed in the switchboard. The control of pH and temperature measurements of the batch is ensured by Magic XBC system and combined pH\/T probes.
